Author Timothy Young Visits Linden Hill
Linden Hill Elementary was excited to welcome author and illustrator Timothy Young for a special visit! Known for books like If You Give a Puffin a Muffin and I Hate Picture Books!, he spent the day meeting with every grade level. He read some of his stories, showed students his fun “scribble drawing” technique, and answered questions about what it’s like to be an author and illustrator.
Timothy Young has done all kinds of creative work—he’s been a toy designer, animator, and puppet builder, even working on The Muppets, Pee-wee’s Playhouse, and Doug. His visit was an inspiring experience for Linden Hill's young readers and artists, showing them all the places that creativity can take you!
